Calcination of the mica at 900°C open the mica's naturally plately structure to enhance heat deflection
characteristics, sound dampening effects, and produces a product that is stable at temperatures up to 1000°C.

CD 2200 is a wet processed muscovite mica with a platey shape, high aspect ratio, chemical inertness, and
